The citizens of a small town in the 1930's are frantically preparing for a visit from a very special guest...the Queen of England. Claire, the assistant to the Mayor, is doing everything in her power to make sure the big day is a success. But when the Queen doesn't show up, it's full blown chaos to ensure that the citizens are happy and Mayor Bromson doesn't get booted from public office. 

Waiting for the Queen premiered at the Empress Theatre in Fort Macleod, Alberta on June 30, 2007, produced by the Empress Theatre Summer Program with the following cast and crew:
