Lieutenant Governor of Alberta Distinguished Artist Award Show

The Lieutenant Governor of Alberta Distinguished Artist Award is a provincial award recognizing outstanding achievement in the arts. The awards are presented by the Lieutenant Governor of Alberta at a celebration hosted by a different Alberta community each year. In 2015 the celebration was hosted by the Allied Arts Council of Lethbridge on June 6, 2015. With performances by Jesse Plessis, Transit, Troy Emery Twigg, and Nuela Charles the awards show was MC'ed by Simon Mallett and recognized the careers of Ronnie Burkett, Frances Ginzer, and Peter von Tiesenhausen. The evening also featured a new creation by Jeremy Mason, Cari Mason, and Camille Pavlenko.
