Country Gold: Songs of the Prairie Grass will take you on an exciting journey through the development of Southern Alberta’s most beloved music genre. From the grassroots sounds of fiddling to hits of the Grand Ole Opry, this showcase of songs by country legends such as Randy Travis, George Jones and Patsy Cline is the country lover’s companion. Accented with cowboy poetry, rustic humour, and barn dancing, New West Theatre’s fresh look at our popular revues is perfect for the whole family.
